Municipal Budget Problems

Over half of most municipalities’ budgets go to funding police, fire and emergency services.

Municipalities create laws and policies designed to generate revenue to fund their large police, fire and emergency services budget demands.

In exchange for federal funding of police, fire and emergency services, municipalities can agree to the following:

1) adopt and institute federal guidelines regarding upholding the U.S. Constitutional rights of persons police encounter;

2) adopt and institute federal guidelines regarding best police practices;

3) end traffic quotas.
